And solo lane exp can help you reach mid game levels faster. It’s probably not ideal in a lot of match ups. You risk your team being all ad if your team mates aren’t willing to play ap. It's simply about reducing R affinity with levels, and increasing it with items. Botlaners are behind in levels and equally ahead in items, so shifting R away from levels nerfs mid a lot more than bot.
